Lighting area
Experimenting area of lighting as light and shadow can create a different sense of the atmosphere in a building. Throughout my process, I tried to explore different materials to create geometric shapes and experiment lighting in them. In the model above, the hollow designs that bring the light into the interior were further developed through cutting and folding techniques to elevated in area of lighting. When a model with more lighting, it increases vitality and is more welcoming. And a model with a small area of lighting has a sense of security. The model above is with linear lighting in closely ordered, which remains vitality while adds a sense of security as it is not completely open wide.
